What Happened Today?

Chip Anderson, President StockCharts.com:

Chip came on the program this morning to make some special announcements about the show and some interesting developments here at StockCharts.com. The biggest news was that Tom and Erin will now be on the air five days a week instead of just three! This will open up the opportunity to bring on more guests, hold more workshops and keep you up to date every market day on what is happening!

Additionally, Chip discussed the implementation of "StockCharts TV". The idea will be a 24/7 channel online that will run the live shows as well as tapings of the latests shows, workshops and a reprise of some of the ChartCon material. Exciting things are happening at StockCharts!

Wyckoff Method - Professor Bruce Fraser, Golden Gate University: It was an absolute delight to have Bruce on the program today. We let him takeover the airwaves for most of the show as he went through a basic primer on Wyckoff with questions from our chat room. After that, he joined Tom for the 10 in 10 before 1. Tom would do his usual breakdown of the chart, but Bruce followed up with real life examples of what Wyckoff would say about those charts. You really MUST go and watch this episode! You'll find it in the webinars tab, or on our Facebook page "MarketWatchers LIVE". Below are some of the slides he showed us at the beginning of his presentation:

Ten in Ten Before One: In this regular segment, Tom reviews ten charts in ten minutes with Erin's comments and comments from the Twitter "peanut gallery" peppered in there. Since Bruce was here, he chimed in on the charts using Wyckoff. Send in your symbol requests via Twitter (@mktwatcherslive) before the show and we'll try and add them. If we missed them this show, we have many of them in the queue for Monday. Symbols reviewed today:  BOTZ, AMLP, CPG, F, GM and DPZ.  You'll find all of the charts in the MarketWatchers LIVE ChartList, located at the top of the MarketWatchers blog homepage.

Looking Forward:

Tune in on Friday at 12:00p - 1:30p EST on 11/3 for a review of sentiment polls and numbers and see how everyone did on calling market action for this week.
