Are you a subscriber and need to know how to save a chart? Below are step-by-step instructions for saving new charts, saving changes to existing charts and saving existing charts to a different ChartList.
The first step is to create your chart in the SharpCharts Workbench. Once the chart is created, you'll be ready to save. To save the chart, click the “Save As” link located above the chart, directly underneath the ChartList dropdown.
A popup will appear into which you can enter the chart's title or use the default chart title we provide. Extra and Pro members can select which ChartList they want the chart to be saved to (Basic members have only one ChartList). Once you've chosen the name and ChartList, click the “Add New” button to save the chart.
If you have opened up an already saved chart in the SharpCharts Workbench and made changes to the chart, you are now ready to save the chart again with those additional changes. To do that, click the “Save” link located above the chart, directly underneath the ChartList dropdown.
A popup will appear with the chart's title, which you can change if you desire. Click the “Save” button. This will override the existing saved chart with the updated changes you made.
Extra and Pro members can open an existing chart and save it to a different ChartList (Basic members have only one ChartList). This will allow you to have multiple copies of the same chart in different ChartLists.
First, open up the existing chart in the SharpCharts Workbench. Next, make any changes you want to the chart. Once you are ready to save the chart to a different ChartList, click the “Save As” link located above the chart directly below the ChartList dropdown.
A popup will appear with the chart's title and a dropdown list of your ChartLists. Click the ChartList dropdown and select the ChartList you want your chart to be saved to. You can also provide the chart with a different title if you prefer. Once done, click the “Save” button.
Note: If you want to save a duplicate version of a chart to the same ChartList, use the “Save As” option and keep the ChartList dropdown selection as is. Simply alter the chart title so it is not exactly the same as the already saved chart, then click the “Save” button. You can save duplicate charts to the same ChartList as long as their chart titles are different.
